Hello world! I’ve always loved food since I was a kid – eating it, cooking it, looking at it, thinking about it. As I’ve grown up and been lucky enough to visit different places in the world, I’ve enjoyed tasting and learning about all types of cuisines from different areas and cultures. I’ve always wanted to carve out a little corner of the internet and share my discoveries. That’s what I hope “The Prince and The Hawker” will be able to do.




While experiencing food from all different backgrounds around the world, I’ve come to firmly believe that we should appreciate meals from the whole spectrum. There is just as much pleasure to be derived and knowledge to be gained from the most humble street-side hawker dish in Singapore to the most refined Michelin-starred restaurant tasting menu in London. Price and value are not always correlated, and context is important.
We’re all geared up for a soft launch of “the Prince and the Hawker” on 10 July 2022. I’ll be looking to bring you a new adventure every week, so I hope you’ll enjoy the ride.
